Kensington Financial Management Consultants Ltd provides complete debt management solutions, helping thousands of people to solve their debt problems.
Their services include debt management, IVAs, mortgages and re-mortgages, plus loans and advice for debt consolidation, bankruptcy and trust deeds.
Kensington Financial started using SMS to communicate with their customers via a shared office mobile phone. However, this method of sending SMS was time consuming and costly, especially as the customer base continued to grow. This prompted Kensington to search for an SMS provider. A quick Google search and they found Esendex. Lee Parkin, Sales Manager says:
“We started using the Esendex service about a year ago and we were sending approximately 500 SMS a month. Initially we used Esendex’s Web SMS application to send SMS, we didn’t have a customer database at the time so it also provided us with an interim solution to store our customer data online.
Once our new customer database was live, we took the decision to integrate Esendex’s SMS service using their SMS API. This enabled us to automate the sending of SMS to our clients directly from our customer database.”
Kensington Financial have found using SMS provides an instant and discreet means of communicating with their clients and it is also a key differentiator from their competitors.
“Today we send about 6000 SMS a month, and we’re adding to the ways we use it all the time. SMS is now a central element to Kensington’s front end sales, customer service and credit control teams. What started as an add-on service has become an integral part of the way we do business.”
The application of SMS for debt management has been so successful that they are planning to use Esendex’s SMS API to integrate SMS with their new mortgage customer database. Lee concludes:
