You can connect to your Business SMS account using Outlook 2003 and Outlook XP by setting up a new E-mail Account:
(If you have set up Outlook 2000 to work in Corporate/Workgroup mode you will need to integrate Messenger directly into Exchange 2000 & 2003. If you are unable to do this please use Outlook Express).
1. Start Outlook and go to Tools > E-mail Accounts
2. Check Add a new e-mail account, and click Next
3. Check POP3, and click Next

4. Enter your information into the following sections:
- User Information: enter your name and email address

- Server Information:
Incoming mail server: ems.esendex.net
Outgoing mail server: ems.esendex.net

- Logon Information:
User Name: Your Esendex account reference and Esendex username in the format <Account Reference>\<Username>
eg: EX0001234\person@mycompany.com
Password: The password you use to sign into the Esendex website

5.Click the More Settings button, enter Esendex Messenger as the name for the account.

6.Click the Outgoing Server tab, check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and click OK

Click Next
Click Finish
7.Click the New Mail Message button, select the Esendex Messenger account from the Accounts list (If you don't see a From drop down list, go to Step 3)

8. Enter the recipients mobile number in the format of mobilenumber@esendex.net for text SMS, and mobilenumber@voice.esendex.net for voice SMS, and click send.
